About Me
I have worked extensively with clients struggling with difficult emotional and mental challenges, such as anxiety, depression and self-destructive behaviors. One of my strengths is working with children, adolescents and their families as they confront trauma experiences (individual and generational) such as accidents, divorce and sexual and/or physical abuse.
As a therapist, my goal is to help clients explore and understand their current experience, by bringing forward parts of their story that are hidden away and/or are not yet known, so as to alleviate current challenges and difficulties. I employ a depth psychological, client-led approach in my work – often utilizing projective techniques such as sand play, art and play therapy.
I completed my MA in Counseling Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute and am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Los Angeles, California.
